Eight Candidates Vying for Delaware County Fair Royalty

The Delaware County Fair royalty contest is tonight.

Eight candidates are vying for titles tonight as Delaware County Queen, King and Princess. This year’s candidates are Evan Dunkel, Madelynn Zehr, Chloe Peyton, Kaya Knipper, Ashleigh Hartman, Josie Goebel, Maci Cook and Dannie Burkle. 

There will be individual interviews, a group interview, social time with the judges and speeches and impromptu questions. 

The royalty contest gets underway this afternoon at the Delaware County Fairgrounds’ Community Center. The public is welcome to attend the speeches and impromptu questions portion of the event at 7 pm. 

The 2023 Delaware County Queen, King and Princess will be announced and crowned prior to the Carly Pearce concert at the fair on Friday night, July 14th. The winners will take over the reign of the 2022 royalty, Queen Maddie Hoeger and Princess Tessa Tauke.
