Masonville Family Receiving Help after Fire Last Week

A Masonville family is receiving some help from the community following a trailer house fire last week.
The Masonville Fire Department says they were called to 903 Gordon Street shortly before noon on Thursday, June 15th. No one was home at the time the fire department arrived on the scene.
The fire started in the area where the water heater was located. There was significant smoke damage to the trailer home, but no one was injured.
Firefighters were on the scene for about two hours.Â
The Red Cross was notified to help the family who was renting the home – a single mother of two and her grandmother.Â
Delaware County Pay It Forward is also helping to collect monetary donations, clothing and gift cards to local restaurants for the family.Â
