The first day of the 2023 Delaware County Fair in Manchester has already come and gone – and along with the start of the week’s 4-H and FFA shows and project judging, the fair parade is always a highlight on Monday.
Richard McDowell from McDowell Truck & Auto Repair in Manchester was in the parade as always.
McDowell says he’s looking forward to a couple different events at the fair this week.
Lucas Fangman with Physical Therapy Solutions was there with the rest of the crew.
He plans on being at the fair on Saturday for sure.
Corbin Jackson of Manchester was in the parade too, riding on a boat.
His favorite part about the Delaware County Fair? The rides. And his friends would have to agree.
The free carnival rides are always a big hit – and they’ll start up at 3 pm this afternoon. Fair Manager Jeannie Domeyer says their free grounds acts also get underway today.
And tonight in the grandstands, the fair is debuting something new – ATV, UTV and Golf Cart Races.
After a free day yesterday, fair admission starts today – the cost this year is $15 for adults, with kids ages 1 to 11 $3. You can find more information about this week’s Delaware County Fair online at delawarecofair.com.Â
