West Delaware Softball Helps Fund RMC’s Pink Support Bags

Regional Medical Center’s Radiology Department is getting a boost from the West Delaware softball team.

On June 21st, the West Delaware softball team hosted a “Strike Out Cancer” game, raising over $1,600. 

The money will support the Radiology Department’s Pink Support Bag Fund. The support bags are given to newly diagnosed breast cancer patients – they’re filled with comfort items that patients may need throughout their journey.

RMC Radiology Manager Megan Demmer says these support bags truly make a difference for local patients who are fighting their biggest battle.
