Manchester Community Donates 1,500 Tickets for Upcoming Film Showing

The Manchester community has donated nearly 1,500 tickets for an upcoming film showing at Castle Theatre.

Manager Kristy Davis says she’s never seen anything like it in her nine years running the movie theater.

The movie is called “Sound of Freedom”. It’s a drama/thriller about a former government agent who embarks on a mission to rescue children from sex traffickers in Columbia.

Davis says a local business owner donated tickets a couple days ago – and it took off from there.

So why all the donated tickets? Davis thinks people just want to make sure the word gets out about the dangers of child trafficking.

The film starts showing on Friday night, with shows available through the weekend and into next week. If you’re interested in any of the donated tickets, you can stop in to Castle Theatre starting at 4:30 pm on Friday.

“Sound of Freedom” will be showing through Thursday at Castle Theatre in Manchester, with hopes to extend it for a second week. You can find more information on show times on the Castle Theatre Facebook page.
