Efforts to Bring Pickleball Court to Strawberry Point

A non-profit is making efforts to bring a pickleball court to Strawberry Point.
The efforts are being led by Point Vision. President and board member Chelsey Zitelman explains.
Their plan is to completely repurpose the town’s old tennis court.
The pickleball court project is estimated to cost about $70,000. Zitelman says Point Vision has been doing some grant writing – and they’re also hoping to fundraise through different events. One of those events is tonight as they’ll be hosting Music in the Park at Strawberry Point’s Inger Park.
Zitelman says by supporting this project, you’re investing in the quality of life for Strawberry Point residents.
The pickleball court project will most likely begin next spring. If you’d like to donate to the cause, you can find Point Vision on Venmo – and they’re posting updates on their Facebook page as well.Â
