Manchester Schedules Public Hearing on Airport Expansion Plans

The City of Manchester will be holding a public hearing next month on the airport expansion project on the west edge of town.

City Manager Tim Vick says they are mailing notices to the property owners involved in the plans.

Vick says after the public hearing, the City Council will vote on whether or not to move forward with the project.

The land the City is trying to acquire is mainly farmland. Agreements have been reached with several property owners, but not everyone.

The public hearing on Manchester’s airport expansion will be held Monday, September 25th at 5 pm.
