The Manchester Chamber is now accepting nominations for the Woman of the Year.
This year’s winner will be announced at the Chamber’s annual EmpowHer event, which will take place on Thursday night, September 28th from 5 to 9:30 pm at The Gathering Place in Manchester.
Women from across the area are invited to attend for an evening dedicated to them, with the theme “Ignite Your Courage”. This year’s speaker is Tatum Base, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Collins Aerospace. Attendees will also enjoy a meal, demonstrations, a raffle and vendors, along with the awarding of the 2023 Woman of the Year.
Nominations are now open and will remain open until all the nomination spots are filled. The Manchester Area Woman of the Year should possess qualities that have helped improve the quality of life for the residents and communities of the Manchester area. She has shown passion and dedication and has put her time, energy, and skills to use in community enrichment, growth, and care. And she has been selfless in her actions through business development, community leadership, personal inspiration and volunteerism, among other roles.
