Monticello Woman Injured in Rollover While Delivering Mail

A Monticello woman was injured in a rollover in Delaware County on Saturday.

The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office says 46-year old Nicole Flockhart was driving her mail delivery car westbound on 310th Street around 1 pm when she lost control of her vehicle, causing it to go into the north ditch. She struck an electrical pole with the passenger side of her car, which is where she was seated as she was delivering mail. 

Authorities say Flockhart suffered serious injuries to her legs and was extricated from her car. 

She was transported to Regional Medical Center in Manchester before being transported to St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids.
