Petersburg is hosting their Back Field Country Bash on Saturday night.
The Petersburg Commercial Club is hosting the annual event at the Petersburg ball diamond next to the church, with live music. Dale Boeckenstedt says this marks the third year for the Back Field Country Bash, which started in 2021 to celebrate Petersburg’s 150th anniversary.
Gates will be open from 6 pm to midnight. Tyler Richton and the High Bank Boys, who perform in Nashville, will once again headline this year’s live music from 9 to 11:30 pm, with Cory Waller opening from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Bring your lawn chairs. There will be a live auction between the shows, along with foods, drinks and free bounce houses for the kids.
Gate admission is $20 for ages 21 and up. The cost is $10 for ages 16 to 20, $5 for ages 5 to 15 and kids under 5 are free.
