A Manchester woman has received a special honor for making people smile.
Rosie Perkins was presented with the City of Manchester’s Nice Neighbor Award during the city council’s meeting on Monday night.
The award was started years ago by former mayor Milt Kramer – and current mayor Connie Behnken, now in her second year, has brought it back with the goal to recognize Manchester residents who are showing kindness to their neighbors and fellow citizens.
Chris Tegeler took that opportunity to nominate Rosie.
Rosie says it’s an honor to receive the Nice Neighbor Award.
