Manchester is working to bring a dog park to town – and today, they’re holding a lunch fundraiser to help make that happen.
A site has been chosen for the dog park on the southeast side of Manchester – it’ll be located along South Brewer Street, just west of the city’s compost site and wastewater treatment site.
Committee member Jo Schreck, who works with therapy dogs, says Manchester dog owners are excited to have a place to let their pets run.
She says fencing will be the most expensive part of this project.
A lunch fundraiser is being held Friday, September 15th to help bring in more money for Manchester’s dog park. Everyone is welcome to stop out to the Manchester Fareway parking lot between 11 am and 1:30 pm.
You can call 920-7923 for larger deliveries – and donations are most definitely welcome.
