You’ll have an opportunity to get to know some of our local non-profits at a special event in Manchester this week.
East Central Iowa Thrivent Community is hosting a Non-Profit Awareness Fair at the Manchester Public Library this Thursday during the lunch hour.
Thrivent financial advisor Mark Beckman says they wanted to give non-profits a stage to get the word out about what they offer.
A variety of Delaware County non-profit organizations will showcase their mission and needs, including Heartland Youth for Christ, Area Substance Abuse Council and the Delaware County Food Bank.
Thursday’s Non-Profit Awareness Fair will take place from 11:45 am to 1:15 pm on Thursday at the Manchester library.
