Early Voting Underway for November City & School Election

Early voting is now underway for the November 7th city and school elections.

County auditors can also now send out absentee ballots to those who have already requested them. Any registered voter can request an absentee ballot by mail.

To request an absentee ballot for this election, Delaware County residents can use the official form available at the Delaware County Auditor’s Office, the Delaware County Elections website at delawarecountyelections.iowa.gov or the Iowa Secretary of State’s website at sos.iowa.gov.

Then mail it to:

Delaware County Commissioner of Elections

301 E. Main St., Room 210

Manchester, Iowa 52057

If you are voting with an absentee ballot, you must mail it so it gets to the county auditor’s office by 8 pm on Election Day to be valid and counted.

You can also vote early in person by going to your county auditor’s office. In Delaware County, the Auditor’s Office is open for in-person absentee voting weekdays from 8 am to 4:30 pm through Monday, November 6th.

The last day to request an absentee ballot by mail is Monday.
