The Pork Tornadoes Performing in Ryan at Cheers for Fears

The Pork Tornadoes will be performing in Ryan this Saturday night at Northwestern Mutual’s “Cheers for Fears” Halloween party.

It’s the second year for the fundraiser dance, which raised a little over $10,000 last year. Mitch Peyton and Molly Brouillette with Northwestern Mutual’s Manchester office say they had so much fun they decided to do it again – this time, with one of Iowa’s most popular bands.

Proceeds from “Cheers for Fears” will go to the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital in Iowa City.

Along with a costume contest, Peyton says they’ll also have a live auction, with around a dozen unique items you can bid on.

Tickets for Saturday night’s “Cheers for Fears” Halloween party are $40 each. You can get them online at eventbrite.com – just search for Cheers for Fears – or if tickets still remain by the weekend, they’ll be available at the door. Only cash will be accepted for drinks and tickets on Saturday night!
