Timmerman Saying Goodbye to Food’s Here Mobile

A popular food truck will be changing hands next week.

Manchester resident Wayne Timmerman will be saying goodbye to Food’s Here Mobile, the food truck business he started in 2018.

Food’s Here Mobile has become well known across the area. Most weekdays, you can find them during the lunch hour parked near the Whitewater Park along West Main Street in Manchester, but they also make the rounds to other communities.

But even while they’re busy, he and his small crew are having fun.

And with food like Wayne’s, people don’t mind if they have to wait. Food’s Here Mobile offers several options for their lunch menu, which vary from day to day. Their best seller is tenderloins, though the hot beef and hot pork sundaes are pretty popular with customers too. And Wayne appreciates everyone who stops by.

It’s that customer service – along with the good food – that customers will miss. Wayne has sold Food’s Here Mobile, with his last day coming up next Tuesday, October 31st. He says he’s not retiring – he may take on a part-time job, with some volunteer work too. And after years of working weekends in the food business or being on call on weekends as an EMT, he is looking forward to spending more time attending his grandkids’ activities.

Matt is expected to operate Food’s Here Mobile mainly out of Marion, though you may see him in Manchester from time to time. In the meantime, you still have a few days to stop in to see Wayne. On Thursday, Food’s Here Mobile will be serving lunch parked at West Delaware Middle School. And you’ll be able to find more details about the food truck’s final stops leading up to their last day Tuesday on the Food’s Here Mobile Facebook page.
