Dubuque County Inmate Escapes While on Work Release

Authorities are looking for a Dubuque County inmate who has escaped while on work release.

The Iowa Department of Corrections say 40-year old Michael LaMarlo Lott, Jr. failed to report back to the Dubuque Residential Facility as required on Monday night.

Lott was convicted of Burglary 2nd Degree and Domestic Abuse Assault 3rd or Subsequent Offense in Dubuque County. He is described as a black male, 6 feet tall and weighing 218 pounds. He was admitted to the work release facility on August 17th. 

Anyone with information on Lott’s whereabouts should contact local police.
