Ruth Helen (Fields) Pasko- Manchester

Ruth Helen (Fields) Pasko, age 96, went to be with the Lord, on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at Marietta’s Place in Manchester. She was born on November 13, 1926, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, the daughter of John and Lula (Walters) Fields. Ruth was a graduate of Goodrich High School in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.

On June 15, 1946, Ruth was united in marriage to Jack Pasko in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Four children were born to this union.

Ruth retired from the Green Lake Conference Center. She served on the Board of the American Baptist Churches USA and was a member of the Board of Educational Ministries. Ruth volunteered at Camden Clark Hospital. She was a member of the Lifetime Partners and was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Ruth also served as deacon, was a member of the Kelley Bible Class, Women’s Mission Society, and the Ministry Board. She also served through various capacities with her husband who was a pastor.

Survivors include two children, Kurt (Dulcie Scripture) Pasko of Manchester, Iowa, and Kent (Connie) Pasko of Kent, Ohio; two granddaughters, Dulcie (Todd) Mangold of Manchester, Iowa, and Katie Jo Pasko of Belpre, Ohio; two grandsons, Bronson (Deborah) Pasko of Simpsonville, South Carolina, and Alex Jack(Hannah) Pasko of Mayfield, Kentucky; two step grandchildren, Dr. Lisa Mehlmann (Mark Pixley) and Kenny (Mae) Mehlmann; eleven great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rev. Jack Pasko; her two children, Peggy Ann and Kerry Michael Pasko; five brothers; one sister; one step-grandson, Chris Mehlmann.
