One person was killed and three others injured in an accident in Dubuque on Saturday night.
It happened on Highway 61 North at the Iowa/Wisconsin border bridge around 5:45 pm. The Iowa State Patrol says a SUV struck a wheelbarrow in the road. When the occupants got out of the SUV to check the damage, the occupants and the SUV were struck by a car.
Authorities say one person died. Three others were injured, with one airlifted to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and two transported to Finley Hospital.
The accident remains under investigation.
