Starmont Community Rallying Around Child Battling Cancer

The Starmont community is rallying around a local child with cancer.

Eli Belser has been a friend of the school for a few years now, after helping Starmont collect one million pop tabs to bring in inspirational speaker Carson King for a school assembly. Starmont student body president Keelie Curtis explains:

So now, the school is returning Eli’s kindness by supporting him and his fight against cancer. Fellow student body vice president Ciara Kuehl:

The Starmont Student Council will also be hosting a hat day on December 20th, so if any students want to wear a hat, they can donate a $1, with the money going to Eli and his family. Kuehl says it means a lot to the school to be able to help Eli.
