Cabalkas Sell Manchester Carquest to Hermsens

Manchester Carquest is now operating under new ownership.

Scott and Jeanie Cabalka have sold the auto parts store after years of serving the community. Scott says he got his start with the business by chance back in the late 1980’s.

The business switched over to Carquest in 1993 – and the name isn’t the only thing that’s changed over the years. Scott says the auto parts industry has advanced tremendously since those earlier days.

Jeanie says she was introduced to the auto parts business around the turn of the millennium after working a couple other jobs.

The Cabalkas have decided to semi-retire and sell the business, with the transition taking place about a month ago on November 1st.

Jeanie says they’re looking forward to spending more time with family.

While they’re excited for more free time, the Cabalkas say they will miss their customers – many of whom have become friends.

And as Scott and Jeanie take a step back from Manchester Carquest, they’re looking forward to seeing new owners Mike and Ashley Hermsen begin their journey with the business.
