Senior Citizens Invited Along on Manchester’s Holiday Lights Tour Tonight

Local senior citizens are invited to take part in tonight’s Holiday Lights Tour in Manchester.

This annual tour is hosted by the City and the Good Neighbor Society. Manchester Parks and Rec Director Doug Foley says it’s been something they’ve offered the community for nearly two decades now.

That’s Leticia Timmerman, Recreation Director at The Meadows, who says they’ll have the buses all warmed up and ready to go tonight for a fun evening of holiday lights and socializing. And this year, the RTA and NEI3A have joined to help provide transportation in addition to the buses and vans already provided by the Good Neighbor Society and The Meadows.

The Holiday Lights Tour runs from 5 to 6:30 pm tonight and also includes a soup supper at the Delaware County Community Center at the fairgrounds, along with snacks before or after the tour.

The entire event is free. RSVPs are appreciated – call 927-1118.
