An unusually mild night made for a busy night in the streets of Manchester, as another successful Window walk is in the books. Hundreds of attendees enjoyed the static parade, food, entertainment and, of course, Santa. Sarah Maurer was glad to see the large crowd.
For Sarah, the decorations made her holiday.
The Window walk is spearheaded by the Manchester Area Chamber of Commerce. Dave Wakefield says events like this make Manchester….Manchester…
Among the decorated trees…the hot cocoa stands and whimsical inflatables….the members of the Stone Church set up a live nativity. Paul Peyton says it’s a reminder.
Jason Orvis, dressed as a shepherd, said the response has been tremendous, especially with the younger set.
The night capped off with the official lighting of the living Christmas tree, a gift from the Manchester Vitality Endowment Committee.
Over $760 was raised at Thursday night’s Static Christmas Parade. Congratulations to the winners!
