Democrats Set Locations for January Caucuses

The Iowa Democratic Party has set its locations for the January 15th in-person precinct caucuses.

Delaware County’s Democratic Caucuses will take place at Lambert Elementary in Manchester. The current list of caucus locations is available at iowademocrats.org/caucus.

The Iowa Democratic Party will conduct traditional party business at the in-person precinct caucuses, including electing delegates and alternate delegates to county conventions, electing county central committee members and submitting platform resolutions for county conventions.

No actions related to presidential preferences will be taken at the 2024 in-person caucuses. Instead, Iowa Democrats will be able to cast their presidential preference through the mail by requesting a preference card at iowademocrats.org/caucus.

The last day to submit a request is February 19th. Results from the presidential preference will be released on March 5th.
