Potential for Strong Winter Storm Early Next Week

System's Track and Snow Amounts Still Uncertain

Forecasters are warning of the potential for a strong winter storm early next week.

The National Weather Service says there are signals for a strong wintry system to impact our area, most likely Monday afternoon through Tuesday night.

This system could bring accumulating snow – though the exact track of the system is still unclear, so there are some uncertainties on snowfall totals, including how much and where.

It does appear that this system could also pack some strong winds, which could lead to blowing snow and reduced visibility.
