Manchester Snow Removal Goes Smoothly, Reminder for Snowmobilers

The first significant snowfall of the season in Manchester means the first implementation of the snow emergency policies for the year as well.

Manchester Chief of Police Jim Hauschild said, for the most part, residents abided by the rules.

A few citations were written, but Hauschild said the total number of tickets were minor. What about those who park in public lots?

Now that the state has received its first significant blanket of white, snowmobile enthusiasts will be soon zipping across the county. Hauschild just reminds you of the restrictions on snow mobiles within city limits.

While violators can receive citations, Hauschild said it’s more about awareness.
