Manchester Dog Park Fundraiser at Pizza Ranch

A fundraiser is being held tonight at Pizza Ranch for Manchester’s new dog park.

Manchester City Parks and Rec Director Doug Foley says bringing a dog park to town is something they’ve been working on for quite some time.

The new dog park will be located at 521 South Brewer Street, just west of the Wastewater Treatment Plant on the southeast side of Manchester.

Committee member Shawn Bromen says they’ve held several fundraisers so far to help with costs for the dog park.

Seven percent of tonight’s sales at Pizza Ranch will go towards the new dog park, along with 100% of all tips. Foley says your support would be appreciated, as they’re about halfway to their fundraising goal.

He says they were originally hoping to open the dog park this summer, but that date is now up in the air – the completion and opening for the dog park will depend on when they’re able to reach that fundraising goal.

Tonight’s Dog Park fundraiser at the Manchester Pizza Ranch runs from 4:30 to 7:30 pm.
