Senator Ernst Visits Industries in Manchester and Independence

U.S. Senator Joni Ernst was in Manchester to visit a local industry on Friday afternoon. 

Senator Ernst, who is a military veteran, chose Collins Aerospace as the Delaware County stop on her River to River Tour, touring the plant and visiting with Collins representatives and employees. Ernst calls Collins Aerospace a leader in the industry.

Ernst spoke with the company’s representatives on Friday about a new measure in the 2023 National Defense Authorization Act. 

Ernst says the balance of finding cost efficiency while delivering competitive technology is something Collins has been doing for a long time.

Following her visit in Manchester, Senator Ernst headed to Independence to visit Geater Machining and Manufacturing and present them with her Small Business of the Week award.
