Greeley Keep Iowa Beautiful Hosting Fundraiser for Light Poles

Greeley Keep Iowa Beautiful is holding an event this weekend to help raise money for one of their ongoing projects.

The committee has been working to raise funds to install decorative light poles along Greeley’s Main Street – with four light poles installed so far, thanks to grants and fundraising. Once this project is completed, they’ll move forward with other community improvement projects.

To help raise funds, Greeley Keep Iowa Beautiful is holding their second annual Soup-er Bowl Supper at the Greeley Commercial Club on Saturday from 4 to 7 pm. They’ll be serving chili and chicken noodle, vegetable beef and potato soup, along with sandwiches and dessert for a free will offering.

The Cruisers On The Edge Car Club event last fall was also a fundraiser for the light pole project.

If you’d like to get involved with Greeley Keep Iowa Beautiful, you can reach out to any of the committee members.
