Dyersville Chamber Names Business of the Year

The Dyersville Chamber held their annual meeting on Wednesday night – celebrating the past year and making plans for the next.

The highlight of the night was the naming of the Business of the Year, with Decker Concrete/APC winning this year’s award. Dyersville Chamber Director Karla Thompson says they were nominated for several reasons.

The other nominees for Business of the Year included Anstoetter Construction, JAM Systems/Midland Doors, Dupaco Community Credit Union and Palace Saloon Bar & Grill. Thompson says they had a great turnout for the Dyersville Chamber’s annual meeting, which was held at the Milestone Event Center in Farley.

Thompson says in addition to their usual schedule of events in Dyersville, they have several new things planned for 2024.

And the Dyersville Chamber is planning to host some social events to give everyone a chance to connect.

And who won the infamous pig that makes the rounds to a different Dyersville Chamber business each year? Since Victory Ford had the most people in attendance, they got to choose this year’s recipient – and they chose Tauke Motors as the winner (or loser). The pig spent this past year at Textile Brewery in Dyersville.
