Man Wanted on Several Warrants Arrested in Fayette County

A man wanted by authorities for stealing a vehicle has been arrested in Fayette County.

25-year old Brandon Kimber was wanted by the Decorah Police Department for stealing a vehicle from the Walmart parking lot on Wednesday. The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office says they received information on Kimber’s whereabouts on Thursday and, upon investigating, found him hiding in a trailer at the Heritage Farm Trailer Park north of Clermont.

Kimber was arrested without incident.

While the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office had no local charges on him, he had warrants from five other agencies. Authorities have not said what those warrants were for.

Kimber was transferred to the Winneshiek County Jail, where he is being held for an initial appearance in court.
