Midwest Pride In Your Ride in Earlville on Friday & Saturday

Midwest Pride In Your Ride is this weekend in Earlville.

This truck and tractor show held at Tri-State Raceway is a major fundraiser for the Relay for Life – with all proceeds going to the American Cancer Society.

Greg Preussner of Delhi says the event kicks off Friday night, with the Survivor Convoy at 5:30 pm and the semi pull at 6 pm, followed by the light show – with a full day of activities on Saturday.

The event started 14 years ago by Eldon Jaeger of Worthington, who wanted to do something in memory of his daughter, who passed away from cancer. The event has raised over one million dollars since its start. And it’s growing every year, becoming a reunion of sorts for the people who gather each year.

The cost to get in the gate for Midwest Pride In Your Ride is $10 for ages 13 and older, with cancer survivors admitted for free if they’re wearing their purple cancer survivor t-shirt.
