DCED Spring Cookout on Friday at Manchester Fareway

Delaware County Economic Development is holding their annual spring cookout in Manchester on Friday.

They’re partnering with the Delaware County Cattlemen, offering grilled ribeye steak sandwiches, chips and water for $12 – or get two meals for $20.

The cookout is taking place at the Manchester Fareway parking lot from 11 am to 1:30 pm.

If you’re in Delaware County and order at least ten meals, they’ll deliver. For large orders, call 920-4029.

Proceeds from DCED’s Friday cookout will help Delaware County Economic Development with their school-to-work activities that they facilitate throughout the year with area schools – such as career fairs, industry tours and the Real Life Academy. Marketing and Communications Coordinator Maggie Sommers says they are focused on offering more to students through work-based learning activities and proceeds from this cookout will help DCED accomplish that.
