Manchester River Days Returning June 6th – 8th

The Manchester Chamber is gearing up to host its second annual Manchester River Days.
This year’s celebration is set for Thursday, June 6th through Saturday, June 8th. The weekend includes family-friendly events and three nights of free live music.Â
The celebration will kick off that Thursday night, June 6th with the City of Manchester’s “Music on the Maquoketaâ€, featuring the band Lonesome Road, at Riverfront Park.Â
The activities on Friday, June 7th will include an evening 5K, Friday Night Farmers Market, the Country Cruisers Show & Shine Car Show and music at the Whitewater Park, featuring Matthew Kane & the Band Greenbrier.Â
On Saturday, June 8th, there will be a full day of activities, including a vendor fair, kids zone, the River Runner Regatta cardboard boat race, a bags tournament, and music bingo. That same night, bands will round out the weekend festivities on South Franklin Street (DeJa Blue and the Love Handles, featuring Manchester Mayor Connie Behnken).Â
And you won’t walk away hungry, as food trucks will be available throughout the weekend.Â
We’ll be talking more about River Days over the next couple weeks – tune in to our upcoming Guest of the Day segments here on KMCH.Â
