Ribbon Cutting to Celebrate Renovations at Buffalo Creek Park in Coggon

The Linn County Conservation Board will hold a brief ribbon cutting event on Friday to celebrate new updates at the 143-acre Buffalo Creek Park in Coggon.Â
New amenities to the park include the addition of 18 campsites (bringing the total to 31). The updates also include a showerhouse and restrooms, an accessible playground with modern features, and a reservable shelter and a picnic shelter.Â
Original development of this northeast Linn County park first began in 1960 – one of the first projects initiated by the Linn County Conservation Board.
The ribbon cutting will take place Friday at 1:30 pm at Buffalo Creek Park shelter, along the main entry road near the playground.
