Two Injured in Dubuque County UTV Rollover

Two people were injured in a UTV rollover south of Farley early Sunday morning.

Shortly before 1 am, the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office says their deputies, along with the Farley Fire Department, responded to 27242 Gertrude Lane for a report of a UTV rollover accident with injuries. 

An investigation revealed 36-year old Brandon Meier of Bellevue was operating a 2011 Polaris Razor UTV with a passenger in a pasture off Gertrude Lane when the UTV rolled over.

Meier was treated at the scene and declined medical transport. 

The UTV passenger, whose name was not released, was transported to Unity Point Finley Hospital with what authorities believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. 

The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
