A child was transported to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle in Manchester on Monday night.
Around 7 pm, the Delaware County Communications Center received a 911 call of a child struck by a vehicle at the intersection of New Street and Liberty Street.Â
The child was transported by ambulance to Regional Medical Center and later transported to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.Â
No further details have been released. The accident is under investigation with assistance from the Iowa State Patrol.
