Delaware County Conservation Issues Flood Alert for Campers

The Maquoketa River in Delaware County is projected to reach minor flood stage sometime Tuesday night or early Wednesday.

The Delaware County Conservation Department is advising caution for campers in the south campground at Bailey’s Ford Park. You may want to consider to move your camper to higher ground within the park. Campers that have not arrived yet may want to check after the storm front has moved through on the availability of this campground.

Please use extreme caution when dealing with potential flood waters.
