Dyersville Hosting Summer Farm Toy Show

Dyersville will be hosting the annual Summer Farm Toy Show this weekend.

The weekend kicks off with a Tractor Ride on Friday, which makes a 57 mile round-trip to Sherrill this year. Check-in at Beckman Catholic High School starts at 6:30 am, with the ride leaving at 8 am. The tractor riders will take a morning break at the Bankston pavilion, stop for lunch at The Barn Restaurant in Sherrill and then travel past Holy Cross on their way back to Dyersville. Call the National Farm Toy Museum at 875-2727 to register for Friday’s tractor ride.

The toy show will be held Saturday from 9 to 5 and Sunday from 9 to 2 at the National Farm Toy Museum and Beckman Catholic High School. This year’s show includes a farm toy display contest, with the public invited to vote for their favorite display on Saturday. And the annual Tractor Parade will take place on Saturday night, starting at 6:30 pm at Beckman – anyone is welcome to enter with their tractor.

This is the 38th year for the Summer Farm Toy Show in Dyersville.
