Veterans’ RSVPs Due Today for Lake Delhi Honor Float

The Honor Float will be making its way around Lake Delhi next month – and today is the final day local veterans can sign up to be part of it.

Last year was the first year for the event, which is a play off of the Honor Flight that veterans take to Washington, D.C.. It was the idea of Hopkinton resident and F&M Bank Executive Vice President Keith Kramer, who wanted to treat veterans to an afternoon pontoon ride on the lake. His co-worker, Morgan Weber, who is involved with the planning, says last year’s ride was a big success, so they’re doing it again this year.

This year’s Honor Float will take place on Thursday, June 13th – and veterans who would like to be part of it are asked to sign up by today.

Again, veterans can RSVP for the Honor Float on Lake Delhi by calling 563-920-2823 or emailing mweber@fmbank.biz.
