Friends of the Hopkinton Library Host Color Craze

Sunday was a beautiful day to get blasted with color in Hopkinton.

The Friends of the Hopkinton Library hosted their 2nd Annual Color Craze at the old Lenox College campus. Over two hundred runners and walkers of all ages participated in the 2K, getting blasted in pink, orange, blue and green as they made their way along the route through the city streets.

Friends member Laura Vaske was sending walkers on their way.

Jason Helle was having fun as one of the sprayers at the orange station.

He was decked out in orange himself from head to toe – including an orange tutu.

9-year old Evie Burke of Delhi had fun on the route getting doused with color.

Hopkinton resident Cathy Harris was one of the participants who was covered in color by the time she returned to campus. She was happy to come out and support the Hopkinton Public Library.

The funds raised go directly to the Hopkinton Public Library to help support their summer reading program, which kicks off on Tuesday.
