Strawberry Point Celebrates Strawberry Days

Strawberry Point hosted their annual four-day festival known as Strawberry Days this past weekend.Â
Not Quite Brothers took the stage on Friday night, with live music from several other performers throughout the weekend. The parade made its way through Strawberry Point’s streets on Saturday and Chamber Board President Tracie Cumberland says they had a great parade turnout.
Longtime operators of The Franklin Hotel, Doug and Kris Schmidt, were honored as this year’s Grand Marshals.
Morgan Adams is a newcomer to Strawberry Point – a business owner who is operating Revivals Furniture Company. And she quickly became involved with the Chamber Board.
Lynn Hettinger grew up at Backbone State Park, the daughter of a park ranger – and she’s stayed around the Strawberry Point area ever since.Â
Strawberry Days also featured a carnival, tractor pull and free strawberries and ice cream part of the weekend festivities too.
