Work Begins on Highway 13 Project North of Manchester

Work begins today on the Highway 13 project north of Manchester.

This project was originally scheduled to begin on May 28th, but it was delayed until June 3rd due to unfavorable weather conditions – and then delayed a second time until June 10th. 

The DOT says the project involves closing Highway 13 from the north side of Manchester to Highway 3 until November so crews can remove and replace the pavement for this 10-mile section of roadway.

While the road is closed, traffic will be detoured east on U.S. 20 to Highway 38 and Highway 3. Access to homes along the closure route will be maintained.
