Quiltmakers Shoppe to hold Megan’s Mom Quilt event tomorrow

An amazing opportunity to volunteer and impact a child is set for tomorrow at the Delaware County Fairgrounds. The Quiltmakers Shoppe is hosting a volunteer sew day to benefit Megan’s Mom Quilts.

Megan’s Mom Quilts, a non-profit founded by  Rhonda Koepke, dedicates its efforts to making personalized quilts for pediatric hospice patients. Koepke’s inspiration came from a quilt that had been given to her oldest daughter Megan, who passed away at the age of 12, after having battled a rare blood disorder for eight and a half years.

Volunteers are invited to come out to cut, sew, and press…or sew a quilt start to finish. Don’t need to know how to sew to help. Can also purchase kits for the volunteers to sew on June 16th if you can’t come out that day in general.
