Dangerous Heat and Humidity Hit Iowa

The heat and humidity have settled in across Iowa.Â
A wide area of eastern Iowa is under a heat advisory through Tuesday night.
Meteorologist Rod Donavon, at the National Weather Service, says Tuesday will be another steamy day ahead for most of the state, with heat indices possibly reaching triple digits in eastern Iowa. Donavon says we may have a break from the heat mid-week, but more storms are likely by week’s end.
Summer officially starts on Thursday.
