One person was injured in a car and motorcycle collision in Dubuque County on Sunday afternoon.
The Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office says their deputies, along with Key West EMS, responded to 7258 Olde Davenport Road south of Dubuque for the accident. An investigation reveals the driver of the car, 21-year old Jackson Jenkins of Lisbon, was attempting to enter the road from a private driveway when his vehicle pulled out in front of a motorcycle driven by 43-year old Jason Allen of Dubuque.Â
Allen was transported to Unity Point Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.Â
Jenkins was not hurt and was cited for failing to yield upon entering a through highway.
