Seniors and their caregivers have an opportunity this week to become prepared for disasters.
Delaware County Emergency Management and the Disaster Prepwise Program, through the University of Iowa, will be offering “Desserts and Disastersâ€, a preparedness presentation for seniors and/or their caregivers. It will be held this Thursday at 3 pm at Seibert Park Memorial Hall in Manchester.
Participants will be guided through how to prepare for a disaster and how to respond afterwards.
