Severe storms are possible tonight.
The Storm Prediction Center has placed the western half of the KMCH listening area under a Level 2 out of 5 Enhanced Risk for severe weather, with the eastern half under a Level 1 out of 5 Marginal Risk.
The National Weather Service says scattered showers and a few thunderstorms may develop ahead of a cold front late today, with some strong to severe storms possible. Locally strong winds, large hail and heavy rain are possible after 7 pm. Isolated storms are still possible Saturday morning.
