Buchanan County Fair Week in Independence

Two local fairs are going on this week – including the Buchanan County Fair in Independence.

This year’s line-up includes grandstand concerts from Eddie Montgomery and The Kentucky Headhunters tonight, while Walker Hayes and Tigirlily Gold take the stage on Friday night.

Fair board member Fred Smock hopes to see everyone there.

You can find the full schedule of events for this week at buchanancountyfair.org.

Also going on this week is the Great Jones County Fair in Monticello. Country superstar Lainey Wilson – who won both the CMA and ACM Entertainer of the Year this past year – will be performing tonight.
