Beautiful Weekend For Backbone Bluegrass Festival

The sounds of guitars and banjos, mandolins and fiddles once again filled the air of Backbone State Park as the Backbone Bluegrass Festival took place over the weekend. With the weather as pleasant as it was, founder and organizer Linzy Martin was elated with the crowds, even in the typically slower Friday.

Musicians and music lovers from all over came to the oldest state park to enjoy performances and instruction. Evan Anderegg and his family have been making the Bluegrass Festival a part of their summer for quite some time.

For Evan, the weekend is more than the music.

And our thanks to the organizers for once again making us feel welcome there on our broadcast Saturday morning.
